Hamas floating the Idea of a 5-to-7-year truce.

Talks being held for a long-term truce between Hamas and Israel.

Proposed by Hamas a 5 to 7 year stop to all warring between Israel and Hamas and a release of all hostages, along with prisoners being released as Hamas has said it will give up all its weapons, have them locked up in a guarded storage area and this includes releasing all of their interests of control of Gaza over to technocrats as proposed by other countries. Hamas would also agree that it would give up all tunnel digging and manufacturing of weapons.

Israel would have to evacuate all military from the Gaza Strip. Israel has not responded, time is needed, We should be keeping an eye on this.

Pres. Trump is claiming there may be a path to disarming Iran in such a way as they would not able to build a nuclear weapon. Supposing no war needed. The talks continue.

If any of this should happen, we just need someone to be able to enforce it. Could this be part of a future covenant?
